I had the pleasure of learning the art of lashing from the wonderful and sweet Alex. I've always wanted to learn lashing and she was fantastic. It's a very straight forward and explanatory course! We learned a lot and had so much fun! it's a very relaxed atmosphere I'm still learning however anytime I reach out with questions she always gets back to me. An excellent teacher for sure!!!!

Had the pleasure to be trained by Alex, her work is absolutely amazing and so is her course! She will make sure you have everything to get your business started, give tips and tricks to better your service. super welcoming, makes you feel so comfortable, easy to talk to and will always be there to answer any of your questions. Super motivating to be around her as she always pushing to be better and successful, she super encouraging and makes you feel so confident on what you do!

Thought about starting a side hustle in the lash industry for a while but all the courses I’ve seen were online and I felt like I would succeed better in a hands-on environment with a teacher around to show you everything as well as being able to ask questions if needed. Alex was an amazing teacher very easy to talk to lots of knowledge and fun to learn from. I enjoyed her class so much and feel so comfortable reaching out to her anytime I have a question or concern. Can’t wait to begin this new journey with so much support behind me. Highly recommend anyone to take this class from island girl academy and to be taught by Alex.

I saw Alex for a lash lift and tint.
I am very happy with the results, however, my favourite part of my visit was how gentle her touch was.
Alex sets the tone for a relaxing experience and she is so gentle in her work.
